She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Young; and her son Darryl Young. She is survived by: her children, Diana Kinder of Paola, Kansas, Chuck Young of Olathe and Terresa Steckenrider of Spring Hill, Kansas.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home (105 E Loula St, Olathe, KS 66061). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Peggy's heart.
