He was predeceased by: his father Michael Elwood Sr.; his grandparents, Johnny and Debbie Lambeth; his aunt Rita Richards; and his uncle Pat Elwood.

He is survived by: his mother Candace Prettyman (Larry); his sisters, Erica Bradshaw (Billy), Rachel Humphrey (Clinton) and Lauren Ewing (Grant); his grandparents, Gerald Elwood Jr. and Doris Elwood; and his nieces and nephews, Charlie, Abby, Nora, Mariella, Rhett and Nash.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to the Elizabeth Layton Center, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, P.O. Box 669 Louisburg, KS 66053.
