Maxine Barber Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Barber (Paola, Kansas), who passed away on October 20, 2021 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Barber to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oleita May (Altic) and Vern Thomas Knoop; her siblings, Nadine Graham (Knoop), Vernice Cox (Knoop), Gwendola Ward (Knoop) and Vern Thomas Knoop; and her husband George Lee Barber. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Here they ended up moving in a church building from Natoma, KS, and sat it upon a foundation that George and the men of the church had laid.
