As we bid adieu to Mary Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Deschner and Idella Maxwell Deschner; her husband Dr. Floyd J. Grimes II; her son John (George); and her siblings-in-law, David N. Grimes, Frances Grimes Alt and Sarah Link Grimes.
She is survived by: her son George of Paola; and her sister-in-law Lillie Grimes Larsen (Max D. Larsen) of Lincoln Nebraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paola United Methodist Church (209 S Silver St, Paola, KS 66071). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
