He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Robert Brown and Vera Ilene Cook of Newton, Iowa.; his wife Coleen Brown; his daughter Mary Melton; his grandson Michael Langston; and his siblings, George, Elvin, Lloyd, Ivan (Jim), David Brown and Vera Mae Leydens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Langston of Kansas City, KS and Brenda Hallstrom (Dave) of Mound City, KS; his sister Nancy Zinn; and his grandchildren, Trevor Langston (Karla) of Sachse, Jason Langston of Kansas City, KS, Tina Melton of Memphis, TN, Cody Hallstrom (Casey) of Overland Park, KS, Baker Hallstrom of Overland Park, KS and Mackenzie Hallstrom of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
