He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas (J. T.) and Nellie Raydean Hunt (Parnell); and his brother Jackie Lee Hunt (J. L.). He is survived by: his children, Josh and Kelsi; his wife Lori Hunt (Anderson); his children, Kammeron Stein (Brent) and Ashley Hunt; his grandchildren, Jordan, Jackson and Kayleigh Stein; his siblings, Vickie and Kenneth Hunt (Sandy); and his nephews, Douglas, Charles, Jeremiah and Jacob.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Foundation.
