It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Carter (Paola, Kansas), who passed away on June 30, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Stewart and Ennis Stewart; her brother Robert Eager Stewart; and her husband Jack Carter. She is survived by: her sister Doris Masters of Maricopa; her children, Steve Carter (Martha) of Belton, Sally Heilman (Steve) of Lawrence and Susan Carter of Olathe; her grandchildren, Amber Evans of Olathe, Abby Richards (Wes) of Lee's Summit, Britton Evans of Olathe, Nellie Lawson (Micah) of Olathe, Mason Heilman of Boston, Shelton Heilman (Amanda) of Olathe, Winston Heilman (Jesse) of Lawrence, Lee Carter of Prairie Village and Mattie Carter of Dallas; and her great grandchildren, Rilyn, Talee, Lyla, Meritt Richards, Lanie Lawson and Rissie Evans.
