It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Irene Blakeman (Paola, Kansas), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Homrighausen and Nova Homrighausen; and her sister Ila Gillogly. She is survived by: her husband Neil; her children, Bret Miller, Brenda Christy, Michele Kibler, Annette Myers and Galen Blakeman; her siblings, Lester Homrighausen, Harold Homrighausen and Freda Bloomberg; her grandchildren, Sam Christy, Nola Miller, Ava Miller, Jediah Miller, Ashley Myers, Joshua Myers, Andrew Myers, Jeff Kibler and Megan Kibler; and her great grandchildren, Elizah Christy and Rhys Bryers.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Presbyterian Church (1402 E 303rd St, Paola, KS 66071). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
