He was predeceased by: his father Charles Young, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Young; his children, Preston, Sherri and Jonathon "Trey"; his grandchildren, Geoffrey, Trinitee and Alissa; and his siblings, Diana, Chuck and Terresa.

Darryl's true passion in life was riding his Harley with friends - his extended family, doing charity runs, road trips, and enjoying any opportunity to ride.
