He was predeceased by: his brother Walter McDougal. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Teresa (Richard) and Christopher (Nancy); his siblings, JoAnn Cornett, Sharon Madden, Jeannie Miller and Woodrow; and his grandsons, Tanner (Leslie), Mason, Blaine and Zane.

The family suggests memorial contributions In lieu of flowers be made to Cross Point Assembly of God.
