He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McQuay and Delia McQuay (Vance); his wife Marie DeVore (Laas); his children, Bobbie Sharp and Sherman Laas; and his sisters, Violet Adams, Murle McQuay and Patsy Richey.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Matt (Karla) and Kristen Sharp; and his siblings, Ronnie McQuay, Mary Needham and Sharon Martin. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
