It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Moody in Paola, Kansas, born in Ketchum, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison McKnight and Cloe Etta McKnight (Jones); her children, James Michael Moody, Janice Gore and Tommy Moody; and her siblings, Bill McKnight, Frank McKnight JD McKnight and Francis Armentrout.

She is survived by: her daughter Paula Brophy (William) of Paola, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jim Moody, Pam Zahan, Jon Moody, Jenifer Moody, Elena Gore and JJ Gore; and her siblings, Marie McKnight, Carolyn Pool, Louis McKnight, Raymond McKnight and Robert McKnight. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests donations to the Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, 9001 State Line Road, Suite 300, Kansas City Missouri, 64114.
