With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Wilgers of Palmer, Kansas, born in Clay Center, Kansas, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Wilgers and Velma Wilgers (Dankenbring); his daughter Wallice Wilgers; and his brother Jan Wilgers. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Wilgers of Palmer, KS; his sons, James Wilgers of Palmer, KS, Wade (Marilyn Wilgers) of Clifton, KS and Joel Wilgers of Beatrice, NE; and his brothers, Larry Wilgers and Lyle Wilgers. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home (918 7th St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Paul Lutheran Church (325 W 3rd St, Palmer, KS 66962).
