It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven A. Johnston of Oxford, Kansas, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Steven departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Berrie (Johnston) and Eddy A. Johnston. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda L. Johnston of Lawrence, KS and Sheryl Gleason of Leavenworth, KS; his niece Alyssa Black (Ian); his nephew Derek Gleason of Lawrence; his great-nephew Bradly Quinlan; and also Easton.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shelley Family Funeral Home (803 Loomis St, Winfield, KS 67156).
Memorial contributions for Steven may be made to the Dunamis Church, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
