With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Jones of Oxford, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on May 12, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Whaley and Ardena Whaley (Veach); her husband Donald Neil Jones; and her siblings, Twyla Whaley, Verna Maunty and Douglas Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Tresa Tong (Tim) of Oxford, Bill Jones (Lori) of Arkansas City, Roxanna Lewis (Bill) of Winfield and Kathleen Kennedy (Troy) of Oxford; and her sister Marietta Coggins of Oxford. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions for Opal may be made to the Winfield Isle of Lights for a memorial display, contributions may be left in care of the funeral home.
