It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern Daniel Woody of Oxford, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel B. Woody and May Ida "Seeys" Woody; his wife Nathalee Marie "Teddie" Mooningham; and his children, Pete, Logan, Billy Mooningham, Carma Doubot and Patsy Connely.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Nirschl, Betty Carol King, Patricia Mooningham, Bobby Ziy and Paul Mooningham; and his brother Larry Woody (Sondra). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice.
