He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Dean and Irma Lea Jenkins (Boatright); and his wife Karen Ketterman. He is survived by: his children, Marty Jenkins, Rickey Jenkins (Diana) and Janelle Vannoy (Steve); his grandchildren, Garrett, Hunter, Laci, Dasa and Hali; his great grandchildren, Noah, Ava-Grace and Mason; and his siblings, Doug Jenkins, Norman Jenkins, Janice Avera, Marcia Jenkins and Rhonda Knox.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford First Baptist Church and left in the care of the funeral home.
