It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Bender of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd David Bender and Inez Joyce Bender (Johnson); his son David Bender of Tahlequah, OK; and his siblings, John Bender of Kansas City, MO, Liz Miller of Scottsdale, AZ and Cynthia Bender of Tampa Bay, FL..
