Wilbur J. Zimmerman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Wilbur J. Zimmerman of Overland Park, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepson Stephen Lierz; and also, Thomas Barnard and George McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Zimmerman; his daughters, Lisa Zimmerman and Laura Pearson (Jon); his stepsons, David and Dan Lierz; and his siblings, Gerald (Jan), Viola Barnard and McCoy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (5250 Mission Rd, Roeland Park, KS 66205). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas Honor Flight since Will enjoyed the opportunity he had to make this trip in 2016, as an Air Force Veteran.
