With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vassiliki Raptis of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vassiliki Raptis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleni Kollintzas (Vrentas) and Dimitrios Kollintzas. She is survived by: her husband Konstantin Raptis; her daughter Dr. Pauline Raptis Sleder (Ted Sleder); her granddaughters, Elaine Draper (Brent), Kristina Fulton (Taylor) and Lia Diamantis (John); her great grandchildren, Theo, George, Alexandra, Costa and Nicholas; and her siblings, Maria Focas (Spiro) and Athanisios Kollintzas (Mary). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church (8100 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66212). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be given to St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church.
