She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Aho and Elizabeth Aho (Tiura); her husband William Niemi of Hurontown; and her siblings, John, Francis, Sally and Verna.
She is survived by: her children, David Niemi (Cherie) of Dodgeville and Sharon Kochan (Paul); her grandchildren, Ashley Stopel (Cody) of Dodgeville, Lisa Niemi, Noah and Jonah Kochan; her great grandchild Savannah James; her siblings, Carl Aho (Paulette) of White Pine, Arlene Larson of Allegan, Jane Putkela of Delton, Dolores Davis (Bill) of Plainwell, Dorothy Kinnunen of Baraga and Evelyn McClung of Ontonagon; and her close friend Cheryl Mattson. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews, cousins.
