With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Cantor of Overland Park, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Roth and Mildred Roth; her husbands, Clifford Schlezinger and Solomon Cantor; her son David Cantor; her son-in-law Mark Fasbinder (Lauren); and her brother L. Jack Roth (Janice).
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Cantor Fasbinder, Chuck (Sandi), Dr. Michael Cantor (Tammi Levy-Cantor) and Dr. Bruce Cantor (Susan); her grandchildren, Rabbi Rachel Short, Morgan Fasbinder, Chip Cantor, Graham Fasbinder, Samson Cantor, Benjamin Cantor, Lily Cantor and Isaac Cantor; her great grandchild Sephira Short; and her siblings, Benson Roth (Arlene) and Hellan Dowden (Brad). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Please Contact Family Or Funeral Home (650 White Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63017). A shiva was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Village Shalom in Overland Park, KS or Congregation B'nai Amoona in Creve Coeur, MO.
