With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Johnson of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johnson and Mildred Johnson; and his sisters, Sherry Slason of Denver, Shirley Jo Helm (Quick) of Colorado Springs and Carolyn Wright of Prairie Village.
He is survived by: his wife Madonna Shreve; his children, Martin Johnson (Jana) of Lawrence and Susan Conley (Tom) of Montrose; his stepchildren, Scott Shreve (Lynda) of Lee's Summit and Becky Gray of Grain Valley, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Captain Brandon Johnson (Lisa), S. Navy, Kristina Johnson of Kansas City and Larissa Edmonds (Brent) of Eudora, Kansas.; and his stepgrandchildren, Erin Brown, Stephen Gray, Conner Shreve and Derek Shreve. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Norman Johnson are welcome and appreciated.
