With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Meredith Edward Kidd in Overland Park, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Kidd and Colleen Kidd; and his sister Lezlie Boast. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kidd (Bass); his children, Eddie (Coleen), Elliott and Mitchell (Hannah); his grandchildren, Quincey and Makhi; his siblings, Quinton (Laurie), Rosalyn Chism and Gevin (Carol); and his nieces and nephews, Lea Anderson, Samone Smith (Archie), Anjelica Haberlein (Shane), Chris (Brekka), James and Sean.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).

Our paths would cross years later when Mrs. Kidd became my advisor and Elliott my supervisor.
