She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Thorne and Robert Bisbee. She is survived by: her husband Roger Banks; her stepmother Carole Bisbee; her sisters, Pam Watt, Jan Lebow and Traci Mehki; her children, Adrienne (Joseph Turner), Marshal (Holli Goode Banks), Hoyt (Kyley Burton Banks), Greer (Melissa Arroyo Banks) and Thorne (Angela Fornelli Banks); and her grandchildren, Violet, Charles, Wallace, Mya, Abbie, Nora, Hazel, Warner and Sloane.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (9101 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS 66207). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery (801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155).
