It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Gilliland (Overland Park, Kansas), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Gilliland; and his in-laws, Forest and Kaye Edwards. He is survived by: his mother Dolores Gilliland; his wife Gaila Hale Shogrin; his children, Mitchell Gilliland (Lexi), Mallory Rhynerson (Dalton), Miles Gilliland (Alyssa), Shane Shogrin (Dusti), Shaila Donaldson (Tim) and Shyanne Shogrin; his grandchildren, Finn Gilliland, Eden Gilliland, Avery Rhynerson, Waylon Rhynerson, Camille Shogrin, Anders Shogrin, Arianna Donaldson and Bennett Donaldson; and his brothers, Jerry Gilliland (Dawn) and Terry Gilliland (Dee). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
