It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kimberly L. Yates of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Louise, Glenn Bolling, Hilda and J. W. Lewis; her father-in-law Pat Yates; and her pet Leroy.

She is survived by: her husband Chris; her children, Megan and Zachary of Overland Park, Kansas; her parents, Larry Lewis and Marilyn Lewis (Bolling) of Parkville, Missouri; her brother Jason; her sister-in-law Rebecca; her nephew Roman Lewis of Parkville, Missouri; her mother-in-law Barbara Yates of Olathe, Kansas; her sister-in-law Kim Yates; her nephew Luke; her nieces, Katelyn and Claire Hruby of O'Fallon, Illinois; her siblings-in-law, Jennifer Yates Abernathy and Kyle Abernathy; her nephews, Jensen and Marty; and her niece Avery of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life is planned Tuesday, April 20 at 10:00 a. m. at Life Church Overland Park (9800 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS 66221) (Capacity is not limited at the service, but wearing a mask is required) followed by a visitation and lunch at Fiorella's Event Center (9000 W. 137th St., Overland Park, KS 66221).
