It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Love (Myers) O'Leary of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Arthur O'Leary (Pat) and Mary Francis Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Walter Myers; her siblings, Mary Foster and Richard O'Leary; her children, Edward William Hokanson III, Katherine Paisley Case, Helen Elizabeth Hokanson (Holly) and Patrick O'Leary Hokanson; and her grandchildren, Kerry Hokanson, Caleb Hokanson, Dr. Anna Case, Jacepine Hokanson, Stella Hokanson, Isaac Hokanson and Owen Hokanson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
