John R. Blickhan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Blickhan (Overland Park, Kansas), who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Margaret Ann Blickhan; his sister Margie Ann Ordonio; his brothers-in-law, Frank Ordonio and Joe Orrick; his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Marceline; and his daughter Jan Marie Wright (Lear).
He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, David Blickhan (Rose Lyon), Mary Chris Blickhan (TamiGreenberg), Sandy Gleason (Rick Rodriguez), Amy Blickhan, Deanna Wright, Kendra Salter (Stephen) and Brian Lear (Autumn); his grandchildren, Danny, Ryan, Andrew, Kelly, Ben, Alex Blickhan, Gretchen, Nicholas Gleason, Connor, Miranda, Alex Wright, Jada Winfrey, Journee Salter and Daijyaand Markel Robinson; his great grandchildren, Liam and Lily Blickhan; his sisters, Janice Orrick and Kathy Dwyer (John); and his close friend Jake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Church of the Ascension (9510 W 127th St, Overland Park, KS 66213). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
