It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sauntry of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sauntry to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Sauntry and Irene Sauntry; his brother Michael Sauntry; his granddaughter Jillian Ottesen; and his wife Colleen Ottesen.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Isadore (Cliff); his sister-in-law Charlene Bredemeier (Wally); his children, Stephanie Koch (Ron), Steve Ottesen (Angela) and Grant Ottesen (Karen); and his grandchildren, Damon Koch (Shari), Caroline Gollier (Bo), Christie Koch, Bob Ottesen (Franni), William Ottesen, Nikki Ottesen, Morgan Peters (Bryan) and Lauren Ottesen. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, his wife, his love for his family, and his loyalty to his friends.
