With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James E. Jacobs (Overland Park, Kansas), born in Salina, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Jacobs and Marge Jacobs; and his brother-in-law Richard Lowe. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings, Bond Jacobs (Gay), John Jacobs (Pat), Joan Huston (Mark), Jane Jacobs-Lowe and Jean Odle (Ted); his children, Michael Jacobs (Jordan), Jackie Mikkelson (Tyler), Rachel Jacobs (JC), Weston Jacobs (Becca), Maggie Allen (Jake) and Grace Jacobs; and his grandchildren, Molly, Luke Mikkelson and Anna Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to make a donation to Holy Spirit Catholic School, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, or Benedictine College.
