It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Robert Alexander of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray C. Alexander and Helen J. Alexander (McIntyre). He is survived by: his wife Candice Jean Henson of Overland Park, Kansas; his children, Paul Alexander (Debby) of Overland Park, Ruth Platt (Brett) of Plano, Micah Ray Alexander (Melissa) of Chandler and John Alexander (Nicole) of Pasadena, Maryland; his grandchildren, Parker Alexander, Benjamin Alexander, Alana Platt, Brennen Platt, Calleigh Platt, Delaney Platt, Quinn Alexander, Graham Alexander, Lula Alexander and Wade Alexander; and his brothers, Ray Murray Alexander of Pleasant Hill, Larry Alexander of Independence and Jim Alexander (Barb) of Pleasant Hill.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Overland Park Baptist Temple (11648 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (1501 MO-7, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080).

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Overland Park Baptist Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

“Harold and my dad (Dan Rogge) were friends and colleagues. I had the pleasure of working with them at Black & Veatch before they both retired. Harold was a brilliant engineer and was truly in his element at work. Harold always had a smile, was kind, and a great mentor/teacher to numerous engineers. Everybody liked working with Harold. He and my dad had numerous conversations about the bible, faith and Jesus during lunches and later after retirement. I am confident he is in a better place!”
