He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Eugene Steffes and Patricia J. Steffes (Hamilton); his son Gerald; his brother Grant; his wife Renee Steffes; his children, Grant Steffes and Morgan Chalker (Steffes); his siblings, Larie Nelson, William Steffes, Matthias Steffes, Gena Stremler, Dale Steffes and Charles Steffes; his siblings-in-law, Amanda Steffes, John Nelson and Dennis Stremler; his son-in-law Joshua Chalker; and his grandchild Reese Chalker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
