She is survived by: her parents, Caleb Flax and Megan Flax; her sister Caroline Flax; and her grandparents, Dennis, Kristi Flax, Sean, Rhonda Nashland, Tony and Amy Leonard. She is also survived by great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Donations can be given in memory of Emma to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, to have a swing built and dedicated to Emma.
