It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Schmidt (Overland Park, Kansas), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred J Schmidt Sr. and Marie Cahill Schmidt; her siblings, Mary Kegin, Jacqueline Kierl and Fred J Schmidt, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Patrick Kegin Sr., Francis Jerome Kierl Sr. and Alice Schmidt; her great-nephew Kelley Wilson; and her niece Kathy Kegin Currie.
She is survived by: her niece Anita; and her great-niece Sara. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, twenty-two great nieces and nephews, and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park (11300 W 103rd St, Overland Park, KS 66214). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
