He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Ray and Elsie Mae Hunnicutt (Gaines); and his brother Larry Hunnicutt. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Hunnicutt (Elaine Haverty) of Lenexa and David Hunnicutt; his wife Amy Lewis; his grandchildren, Shannon (Jonathon Crockett) of Atlanta, Jackson Hunnicutt of Lenexa, Jeremy Hunnicutt (Sarah Beth Fullington) of Lenexa, Oskar Hunnicutt of De Pere, Grace Haverty of Lenexa and Jay Haverty of Lenexa, Kansas; and his great grandchild Austin Crockett of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
