He was predeceased by: his father Richard Strahl; his wife Rita Brennan; and his sister Robyn Bain (Strahl). He is survived by: his mother Shirley Strahl (Applegate); his sisters, Barbara Rush (Strahl) and Deborah Crawford (Strahl); his daughter Heather; and his grandsons, Lucas and Dylan Harrington. He is also survived by extended family, including cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (301 E Madison Ave, Iola, KS 66749). The inurnment will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Green Beret Foundation, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
