He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Hoyt and Bernadette Hoyt (Lyon); and his siblings, Mary Jo Hoyt of Kansas City, Missouri and James W. Hoyt of Bogota. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hoyt; his stepsons, Dennis L. Crowl of Kansas City, Missouri and Donald R. Crowl of Kansas City, Missouri; his siblings, Michael J. Hoyt (Mary Ellen Schoonmaker) of Simsbury, Connecticut, Mary Teresa Durkin (Patrick) of Chicago and Anne Hoyt (Art Scavone) of New York City; his stepsister Sarah Hoyt; and his stepmother Mig Boyle of New York City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
