He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Christie and E. Nadine Christie (Redford); and his brother Richard Christie. He is survived by: his sons, Geoffrey Lee Christie of Topeka and Thomas Christie (Shelly) of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Sophia, Finn Christie, Alec and Keira Christie; and his sister Rhonda Rose (Richard) of Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces, a nephew, cousins and friends.
