He was predeceased by: his parents, Karol A. Wilhite and Ruby Wilhite (Loomis); his brother Gary; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Wilhite and Kathy Wilhite; and his son-in-law Lance Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Wilhite; his children, Steven Wilhite of Overland Park, KS and Julie McMurphy (Dallas) of Breaux Bridge, LA; his brother Larry J. Wilhite of Bonner Springs, KS; his grandchild Erin Ward (James); and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Isaac and Addison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
