He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Gaines and Lois Gaines (Downing); his wife Elizabeth Marie Ryan (Betty); his children, Jeremy Lawrence and Stephanie McNish; his son-in-law Earl; his grandchildren, Asher Gaines, Baret Barquist, Savannah, Henry and Evan McNish; his siblings, Linda Faust (Bernie), Saundra Hiller (Paul), Diana Skinner and Tom Gaines; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Spangler (Don), Rosie Schell, Mary Woydziak, Patricia Ryan, Lois Ryan, Larry Ryan (Linda), Bill Ryan (Kathy), Terry Ryan, Donald Ryan and Jerry Ryan; his in-laws, H. L. and Ethel Ryan (Bailey); and his brothers-in-law, Delbert Skinner, Thomas Ryan, Jim Ryan, Jerome Schell and Jim Woydziak. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
