She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell D. Gieber and Flossie M. Gieber (Carver); her former husband Don Carver; her daughter Joyce Vogeler; her siblings, Helen, Vivian, Betty, Twila, Lorene, Gladys, Corrine, Carole, Cleo, Rusty, Rodney, Loren and Clifford; her foster son Brad Cowdin; her children-in-law, Linda Elder and Brad Wheat; her grandson Quintin Elder; and her great great grandchild Reign L. Coleman.
She is survived by: her husband Jack R. Elder; her former spouse Merle Taylor, Sr.; her children, Jack "Randy" Elder (Connie), Willie Elder, Barry Elder of Ottawa, Dennis Elder of Moses Lake, Washington and Teresa Wheat of Ottawa; her foster daughter Cindy K. Cowdin of Desoto; her sons-in-law, Walter Vogeler of Ottawa and Victor Shenk of Desoto; and her brother Marvin Gieber of Yuba City, California.. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
