In loving memory of Carolyn Yvonne Martin of Overbrook, Kansas, who departed this world on January 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Carolyn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Edward Olmstead; her husband Don Martin; her brothers, Galen and Gene Olmstead; her siblings-in-law, Clyde Martin, Sue Martin and Patricia Martin; and her close friend Bitzi.
She is survived by: her mother Grace Yvonne Olmstead (Genter); her sons, Craig E. Martin (Michelle) of Overland Park, KS and Bruce E. Martin (Stephanie) of Wichita, KS; her brother John Olmstead (Shirley) of Ellijay, GA; her siblings-in-law, Carol Pierce of Apollo Beach, FL, Betty Olmstead of Virginia Beach, VA, Cheri Harmison of Overbrook, KS, Cheryl Stewart of Oakley, KS and Ed Harmison of Overbrook, KS; and her grandchildren, Kylie, Chase Martin of Overland Park, KS, Evan, Hunter Martin of Wichita, KS and Heather Schuh.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overbrook United Methodist Church (1005 Maple St, Overbrook, KS 66524). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
