She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight H. McCracken and Alberta V. McCracken (Eccles); and her siblings, Marjorie Fankhauser and Larry McCracken. She is survived by: her husband Larry Shaffer; her children, Brad Shaffer (Diana) and Brenda Dahl (Derrick) of Overbrook, KS; and her grandchildren, Corey Dahl (Kilee), Alex Dahl (Natasha), Shelby Hedke (Alex), Hayley Swan (Richard) and Tyler Shaffer (Alex). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Overbrook United Methodist Church (1005 Maple St, Overbrook, KS 66524). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
