She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Tichenor and Lola Tichenor (Rollin). She is survived by: her husband Robert Benortham; her daughter Sara Smith (David); her sisters, Nora Lovely (Dan), Karla Alkire and Mary Shipps (Steve); and her grandchildren, Joscelyn, Nikola and Kyla.

Following all Covid-19 guidelines, funeral services will be 10:30 a. m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Overbrook Bible Church, Overbrook, KS.
