He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ricketts and Lucielle Ricketts (Cooper). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his sons, Marc (Erika), Matthew (Heather) and David; his grandchildren, Nathan, Lee, Sean, Maisie and Timothy; and his brother Thomas.
