He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Louis and Monica Elizabeth Collins (Moran). He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Graves (Denny) of Lawrence, Kansas, Marie Drumm (Robert) of Waverly, Kansas, Regina Wittman (Tony) of Olathe, Kansas, Joan Gagnon (Glen) of Emerald, Kansas, Peggy Payne (Don) of Lyndon, Kansas. and Tom Collins (Ann) of Emerald, Kansas; his sister-in-law Myong Collins of Rio Rancho; and his stepmother Charlene Goscha of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by six step siblings, along with twenty-one nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (33721 NW Crawford Rd, Williamsburg, KS 66095).
