In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sylva leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sylva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Calvin and Barbara June Needham (Phillips); and her brother LeRoy Needham (Craig Phares). She is survived by: her children, Tammi Phares of Ottawa, Kansas and Bryan Phares (Chris) of Ottawa, Kansas; her granddaughter Violet; her sister Cherry Chrisjohn (John) of Lane, Kansas; and her aunts, Norma Jenkins of Louisburg and Delores Needham of Ottawa, Kansas. She is also survived by niece; nephew; great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
The inurnment was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lane Cemetery.
