We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Elaine Ayers of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Pratt, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Mae Mawdsley (Hiskett) and Alar Mawdsley; and her sons, Ken and Greg Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband Bill Ayers of Ottawa; her sister Jane Morabito of Atascocita; and her grandchildren, Tanner, Addison, Jerrigen and Ensley. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to the United Methodist Church of Ottawa, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory Street, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
