Gustin; his half-sister Lucille Sumpter; his stepsiblings, Juanita Kraus and Eddie Baker; and his granddaughter Courtney Sumpter.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Blake Cazier; his wife Ruth L. Sumpter; his children, Michael Sumpter (Nancy) of Topeka, KS, Jeff Sumpter (Barbara) of Topeka, KS, Robert Sumpter II of Topeka, KS, Pamela Borneman Meriden (Don) and Robin (Leo); his stepchildren, Haley (Sarah) and Aaron (Kelly); his sister Bernice; and his half-sister Nora.
